Our fully integrated state-of-the-art production facility presents a variety of technical and production format configurations. We provide our clients with a complete range of capabilities: from straight news-style cutting, tape to tape, to leading edge digital image manipulation. All of our equipment meets broadcast standard specifications and is networked for easy file transfer and cross platform requirements.

Final Cut Pro HD
With native support for virtually any format, Final Cut Pro allows you to edit everything from DV, IMX and uncompressed SD to HDV, XDCAM HD, DVCPRO HD, and uncompressed HD. Unlike other solutions, Final Cut Pro acquires HDV media and keeps it in the original format, with no generation loss. Clients can output via FireWire back to an HDV camera or deck, or transfer their native HDV to DVD Studio Pro. Furthermore, tapeless workflow support with Panasonic P2 compatibility allows high-speed ingest and editing. You can view and browse P2 devices, then transfer the files you need directly into the Final Cut Pro Browser.

Media 100i & Media 100XS
Media 100i (Suite 1) & Media 100XS (Suite 2), both contain real time effects, and the industry leading 2:1 video compression rate (1:1 and internet ready available on Media 100i). The two systems also come with over 100 gigabytes of drive space, and-up-to date 'plug-in' special effects software such as Adobe AfterEffects, Boris Effects, and Ultimatte. Both non-linear systems are also fully compatible with standard internet and electronic print platforms, making them equally indispensable for digital media development.

Avid MSP
Avid broadcast quality Media Suite Pro, with over 3 hours of broadcast quality video storage space, is excellent for documentary and news productions.

Linear Editing - BetacamSP
Blomeley's linear editing facility contains SONY BetacamSP Broadcast News Cut component configuration including a PVW2800 BetacamSP player/ recorder, a PVW2650 BetacamSP player with dynamic tracking, an edit controller and Leader NTSC Waveform and Vector scopes.

2D/3D Animation and Graphic Creation

Animation and graphics created in the Blomeley production facilities have been seen worldwide. Our work can be found in a complete range of applications including computer games, web sites, videos, television commercials, and television productions. Our artists work in both the service business environment and in-house on a variety of Blomeley productions and R&D initiatives.

SoftImage 3D
World class SoftImage 3D animation software version 3.8 Extreme allows Blomeley to bring full feature film quality capability to our clients. SoftImage is one of the most powerful and robust animation tools, used by games animators, broadcasters, and feature film creators.

2D Animation
2D animation can be created on a number of software platforms including Adobe After Effects, Logo Motion, and Motion. Adobe AfterEffects is one of the industry's most popular 2D animation and video manipulation/ compositing packages, and is integrated as a plug in on our non-linear edit systems.

Graphic Stations
All of our work stations are set up to create graphic and animation elements for a complete range of multimedia and internet media applications.
